Posimetric Feeder Models and Capacities

Posimetric Feeder capacity requirements are met by varying the duct size, by adjusting its rotation speed, or by increasing the number of ducts.

The Posimetric Feeder will feed dry, light particles at 1,200 pounds per hour or heavy, sticky minerals at 1,500 tons per hour or more without agitating or harming the material. You can use a Posimetric Feeder to improve process output and reduce maintenance costs in applications that have employed a variety of different feeder typre. The Posimetric Feeder replaces:

  • rotary feeders
  • table feeders
  • weigh feeders
  • triple gate valves

Posimetric Feeder Capacities and Performace Features

  • Capacities from 3 - 1500 tph
  • Rotation speeds as low as 1/2 rpm to 15 rpm
  • Extremely low horsepower requirements
    • Typically, a 200-tph feeder only needs a 3-hp motor
    • A 500-tph feeder only requires 10 hp
  • Breakthrough uniform feed rate delivers 99.5% accuracy
  • Dust-free operation improves plant safety
  • Seals against downstream suction or pressure
  • Most trouble free, lowest down-time feeder ever built

The Posimetric® Feeder is the most dramatic breakthrough in bulk solids feeder technology in years. It functions exceptionally well when replacing both gravimetric feeders and volumetric feeders. Its principle of operation is based on a design so original that we classify it as a positive displacement feeder, the first of its kind. As such, it meters and feeds so accurately, it can eliminate the need for high maintenance weigh feeders.

The Posimetric Feeder Difference

  • Outlasts all other types of feeders
  • Far more consistent, more reliable feeding than any other feeder, even feeds wet, sticky coal with no interruptions
  • Easily retrofitted; will directly replace table, rotary and paddle type pulverizer feeders
  • Replaces all types of gravimetric and volumetric feeders
  • Provides accurate weight data via optional programmable controller
